Uber can vary wildly with wait times and availability. We’d recommend scheduling with a local taxi rather than tech behemoth anyway.
J&Y Taxi (347)-601-3895
Shiros Transport (475)-655-5510
W&E Services (203)-947-8113
Elevatex (203)-520-4171

Go to the top of this website and click the link that says “Schedule.” Voila.

Travel & Directions
Travel & Directions
By Plane
If you’re traveling from out of town, the most convenient airports are Westchester County Airport (HPN), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
Westchester County Airport (HPN) is the closest airport to the hotels, about a 35-minute drive. NYC airports are approximately a 1.5-hour drive, depending on traffic.
All local taxi services provide transportation to and from these airports when scheduled in advance.
By Train
If you're coming from New York City, the easiest option is to take Metro-North's Harlem Line to Southeast station which is about a 15-minute drive from the hotels. If taking Amtrak, use Stamford station, which is a 45-minute drive.
Local Taxi Services
We recommend scheduling your Uber ahead or one of the local taxi services.

the dress code
Summer Formal
Long dresses, jumpsuits, tuxedos or suit and tie. Colors and prints encouraged.
Connecticut summers can be warm and humid. While most of the event will be indoors, we’d recommend light, breathable fabrics.
For welcome drinks, party casual. Meaning, wear whatever you’d wear to a fun party.
For the weekend, think garden of eden: greenery, florals, rich textures, slightly witchy.
Martin would like to note that this is entirely optional, but he did design the color palette you see here because Christine asked.

Both the ceremony and reception will be primarily indoors.
The church is beautiful and historic, but that history doesn't include a modern air conditioning system. We're sure it won't be too uncomfortable, but it also may not be the place for your heaviest wool suit.
-
There is a registry linked in the header. It’s a bit sparse, we have most of what we need, but would love your help making our honeymoon special.
We’re traveling to Mallorca to see the eclipse, and have included options to contribute. -
Friday welcome drinks will include light bites, so we recommend eating dinner beforehand at the hotel or one of the restaurants we recommend.
Cocktail hour will feature passed hors d’oeuvres and buffet-style stations, but don’t fill up too quickly, dinner will follow with a three-course seated meal.
During dinner, each table will have a dedicated server and drinks will be made to order, so your glass will always be full. For those with dietary restrictions, we’ve noted those to the venue and accommodations will be made. But just give your server a reminder when you sit down.
-
Terra — On-site restaurant at Hotel Zero Degrees.
Bailey’s Backyard — A relaxed, farm-to-table bistro with seasonal menus and a lively atmosphere.
Gallo Ristorante — Excellent Italian cuisine and a great spot for a cozy dinner.
The Hideaway Kitchen & Bar — A local pub with American-style favorites, great for a casual lunch or dinner.
-
Totally. Maybe. Just not during the ceremony.
We will have a photographer there to capture the event. And then at the reception we're looking to have point and shoot cameras available if you'd prefer not to be on your phone. -
There will be a small gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Feel free to stroll Main Street, grab a drink nearby, and enjoy the area, just don’t stray too far, as buses will depart St. Stephen’s promptly at 4:45 PM.
If you’re driving, please plan to arrive at the venue no earlier than 5:00 PM.Check the weather in advance as summer storms can be unpredictable and you may want an umbrella.

Introducing, Martin Robertson.
Just kidding. Yes, Christine is planning to change her last name to Baker, though may keep it as Robertson for professional LinkedIn purposes so future clients don't know they'll be working with a married couple. -
Children are warmly welcome to attend the ceremony at St. Stephens.
Please note that the cocktail hour and reception are adult-only celebrations. We appreciate your understanding. We will have a nanny service available at Hotel Zero Degrees, so if you need last minute child care, please let us know.
-
Absolutely! The hotel offers a handful of ADA-compliant rooms, and we will have ADA-compliant transportation available for anyone who needs it.
The church and reception venue is fully wheelchair accessible (yes, including the dance floor 💃).
If you or your guest need any additional assistance, please let us know and we’re happy to help. -
If your question comes before Wednesday, text Christine if you want an answer within 24 hours (likely between the hours of 12–2am), or Martin if you’re comfortable waiting 3–5 business days.
Otherwise, please reach out to your closest Robertson or Baker. Our day-of coordinator Melissa’s contact info is listed at the top of the site.
How we met
Martin’s side of the story
Christine literally had no idea who Martin was.
She asked around if he was “one of those white boy freelancers?” That didn’t clear things up at all. When they finally met in person she pretended to remember him. But she didn’t.
She knows him now. Better than anyone.
Christine’s side of the story
Martin first saw Christine when they were both working at Mother in New York.
He always wondered about her and hoped one day he'd get a chance to meet her. That chance wouldn't come til much later, when the long and hopeless scroll of a dating app would show him a familiar face.
They began chatting and haven’t stopped since.
